Chicago Beer Experience's beer tour straddles Chicago's Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods approximately 3.5 miles north of the Loop of Downtown Chicago. A guide will lead you on about a half of a mile walk through these neighborhoods and you will visit various establishments, some of which have been around since the days of Prohibition.
Included are an Irish Pub, a beer-and-bacon bar, a specialty beer and wine store, and a punk rock bar. Your group will share some stories about Chicago, the history of beer, and taste and learn about a variety of different styles of beer, too.

Here are the tour basics:
- When: Most commonly, tours run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 3 to 6 PM, but times may vary. Please click on the "Book Tour" tab in order to see specific tour availability. Other tours may be posted in response to demand.
- Type of tour: Groups of up to eighteen people will be led by a trained guide, who will be weaving information on beer and Chicago together in a fun, informative way.
- Beer tastings: Participants will taste a variety of different styles of beer from multiple breweries.
- Length in time: The tour lasts approximately 3 hours.
- Length in distance: It is a walking tour and covers approximately one half mile.
- Start location: The tour starts near the Lincoln Park and Lakeview neighborhoods, about 3.5 miles north of the Loop. It is easily accessible via public transportation. Detailed information on the specific starting location and the various ways to arrive will be provided upon booking your tour.
